I started practicing Ashtanga Yoga in 2003 hoping to get help for my lower back problems.

I left my first class bewildered about the experience that I have had. What I expected was stretching exercises to help me alleviate the pain, but what I left with was so much more, so much deeper and profound.  I wasn’t sure what it was, but I kept on going back for it… It took me a few years to realize what it was that Yoga gifted me with every time I stood on my mat.    For the last 7 years Yoga has been the one thing I have always gone back to.  Through all the ups and downs of life, all the changes, transformations, revelations, it has been the one thing that remained constant, and grounded me. It has been my path to self.

The beauty of Yoga is that it can be anything you want it to be – a form of exercise, a way to relax and have fun, or a way to go deep within yourself and discover the beauty that lies there.

I feel blessed to have found it and am ecstatic to be able to share it with others as a Yoga Teacher.
