Linda Silkeberg

Linda has been practising yoga since 1999 and teaching since 2006.  In the beginning, Linda saw yoga as another form of physical exercise.  However, as she progressed in her practice, she realized that yoga is not just about contorting the body into difficult postures, but is rather a deeper inner journey, which is ultimately aimed at bringing about a self-realization and inner awareness.

 

Having studied with renowned yoga teachers; Tks Desikachar, Pattabhi Jois, David Swenson, Matthew Sweeney, Master Kamal, Shiva Rai, Stephen Thomas, Aileen Hall, etc, Linda continues to learn and develop her personal practice and teaching skills.  She draws her influence from various style of yoga from classical to modern yoga systems.  Her style is goal oriented and precise with the focus to bring the body, energy and mind to balance.

 

In teaching, Linda strives to bring joy and inspiration into her students’ lives and help them to be present and look inside their heart.  Her classes are fun, vibrant and energetic with a focus on strengthening the body, improving flexibility, steadiness and comfort in body, mind and soul.  What gives her the greatest satisfaction is when her students benefit from her classes physically, emotionally and spiritually.
